One of PAG Hotels' strong commitments is to the quality of food and the dining experience that our guests receive. We have created our "Le Cépage" restaurants with exactly this in mind - fabulous food, freshly prepared, in season, using locally sourced produce where possible - and all prepared by award winning chefs who really do know their stuff.
Our table d'hôte menus change daily: and both restaurants open their doors to non residents too and are fast becoming well known in their respective regions as simply just great places to go out for a meal!

Castle Venlaw, Peebles, the Scottish Borders
Castle Venlaw was purchased in September 2007 by PAG Hotels as the first hotel to establish the PAG concept "no room for compromise". It is a beautiful baronial style castle and guests return over and over again to enjoy the hospitality given by the team at Castle Venlaw.
Auchen Castle, Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway
By July 2008 a second hotel was added to the PAG Hotels company, namely the stunning Auchen Castle Hotel. The PAG concept of "no room for compromise" already radiates throughout the hotel which is run by an excellent team who look after our guests impeccably - nothing really is too much trouble.
